01. JESUS IS LORD by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: There is great value in commitment. I asked the Lord one time why one person will receive salvation and go on to great and glorious things and yet another will struggle and strain and backslide; why one Christian will hear the uncompromised Word and begin to walk in victory and love and yet another hears the same preaching and continues in defeat, sickness, depression and bondage. He answered me with one word: commitment.
02. BE YE DOERS OF THE WORD by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: If we are to be truly DOERS of the Word, we must be doers of the WHOLE WORD, and do our part to see that the Gospel does get preached to everybody, everywhere. Jesus said, "Go YE into all the world..." We can go personally and we can go by prayer and by giving. We can go and we can send. EVERY believer has the OPPORTUNITY and RESPONSIBILITY to go into all the world through the ministry of intercessory prayer, and the ministry of giving. "Freely ye have received, freely give."
03. DEVELOPING YOUR FAITH by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: Faith is produced and developed by hearing God's Word. Every born-again believer has faith. It is given to him by God when he receives Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. According to Romans 12:3, "God hath dealth to every man the measure of faith." We know this is speaking of every born-again man for the letter to the Romans was written to Christian believers, and Paul, in II Thessalonians 3:2, speaking of unreasonable and wicked men, says "for not all have faith (the God kind of faith)." Ephesians 2:8,9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God."
04. THE GREATER ONE IN YOU! by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: One of the greatest, most mighty truths revealed in the New Testament is that God, by the Holy Spirit, dwells in the hearts and lives of born again men and women. This makes our bodies temples of the living God. What an astounding thing! One would not even dare say such a thing if it weren't for the fact that the Bible Itself says it.
05. CHOOSE LIFE! by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: This is the same life that raised Jesus from the dead and quickens our mortal bodies. It's the same life that can be manifest in our mortal flesh and drive out sickness and disease. It's the life of God that was placed in our spirits when we were born again. It can get into your mind and renew it causing you to think the thoughts of God and have the mind of Christ. It will heal your body, set you free and cause you to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh!
06. FREEDOM FROM ANXIETY! by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: To be free from anxiety, the first thing we are to do is rejoice. There is power in praise and rejoicing; not sometimes, but always. Many people can rejoice sometimes but very few rejoice always. God sees it as possible, or else he wouldn't say it. When trials and tests come, we can rejoice because we have the answer. We can stand on God's Word and be delivered.
07. IN HIM REALITIES! by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: You are in Christ Jesus, and have a wealth of good things available to you because of this union, this identification. It is your responsibility to receive these things and act on these truths in order to live a victorious life and bless mankind. The devil attempts to try to steal, kill and destroy - to lie to you and tell you you'll never amount to anything, you're a failure, worthless and unworthy.
OUTLINES
01. OUTLINE - WALKING IN THE SPIRIT by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: Live under the influences of the Holy Spirit... Do not resist him, but yield to all his suggestions. If a man would yield his heart to those influences, he would be able to overcome all his carnal propensities; and it is because he resists that Spirit, that he is ever overcome by the corrupt passions of his nature. Never was a better, a safer, or a more easy rule given to overcome our corrupt and sensual desires than that here furnished... that the only way to overcome the corrupt desires and propensities of our nature, is by submitting to the influences of the Holy Spirit.
02. OUTLINE - SPIRITS THAT HINDER - "SOUL TIES" by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: Why do people who are being used, misused, abused oftentimes find it so hard to break free? Why do we sometimes allow others to control/manipulate/exert unhealthy influence over us? Why do we do some of the things we do?
03. OUTLINE - THE 'JESUS' OF CULTS by Jason Carlson and Ron Carlson
EXCERPT: Today we are seeing the fulfillment of this warning sign as never before. Our world is literally flooded with false "christs" and false messiahs. It is estimated that there are over 1,000 cults in America alone with some 25-30 million followers! And each of these false cults promotes their own man-made version of "Jesus Christ" who is not the Jesus of the Bible. So, who is the "Jesus" of the cults?
04. OUTLINE - UNDERSTANDING THE FEAR OF THE LORD by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: The beginning of wisdom and the supreme wisdom is to properly fear and reverence God. (Word Study Dictionary) "As wisdom is the key to life, the fear of the Lord is the key to wisdom."
05. OUTLINE - COMPLETELY DESTROY THEM??? by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: Violence and bloodshed are occasionally mentioned in the record of man's history throughout Scripture, but never with approval. Yet there were specific situations when entire communities (such as Jericho) or entire tribes (such as the Amalekites) were to be exterminated by the Israelites in obedience to God's command.
05. OUTLINE - AN EVIL SPIRIT FROM GOD?? by Pastor Tim Morbitzer
EXCERPT: The other two passages used to charge God with falsehood are easier to understand. In Ezekial 14:9 we have another case of God allowing spiritual blindness to take its course. The biblical writer merely attributes the whole process of hardening of heart followed by judgment as falling within God's sovereignty. The strong statement of Jeremiah 20:7 is a complaint by the prophet, who had mistaken the promise of God's presence for the insurance that no evil or derision would come on him or his ministry. However, these verses cannot be cited as the basis for giving any credence to the charge that God is deceptive.
