SARAH JOY MORBITZER - GHANA
A MESSAGE FROM SARAH JOY:
I will be moving to Ghana, Africa for a year to volunteer for Challenging Heights, an organization dedicated to helping kids rescued from slavery in the fishing industry. I am overjoyed by this chance to go to the front lines! I am so excited to learn from the abolitionists in Ghana, to help further the mission of Challenging Heights, to love and get to know the children they are helping, and to experience Ghanaian culture! If you would like to support me financially, please click the DONATE button below. My goal is to live on less than $10 a day while I am in Ghanna. According to the Bradt’s guidebook; food, lodging, and travel can be had for $2 to $3 a day each if you're ready to rough it (and I am!). I am saving up as much money as I can because I am believing God for the resources to meet the needs of others while I am there - whether that be a meal or a box of crayons or a pair of shoes. And then, or course, there's the fun stuff to pay for: visa, malaria medication, airplane ticket, and so on.
If you would like to help out financially with my expenses in Ghana, there are a couple of ways to contribute:
- Online
Online fundraising for Sarah's Ghana Trip at Razoo
- Check: Made out to Victory Christian Fellowship with the memo "Ghana" or "Sarah." Checks can be mailed or dropped off at:
Victory Christian Fellowship, 112 West Main Street, North Manchester, IN 46962
The funds I receive will be used to pay for anything I can't cover with the money I've been saving from my job.
Thank you for your support. I know I can't do this on my own and I am so grateful to everyone who has given money towards my trip. It means a lot to me and I don't take these donations lightly - I want to use them wisely and give as much good as possible from every single dollar!
Thank you!
